Approach
Our website development
approach involves the following steps.
Plan |
Each site is
unique and so are its requirements. We start with an initial
conversation to determine the following:
- Site purpose (to sell
products/services, informational, display)
- Target audience
- Content (how much,
number of products, etc.)
- Site functionality
(shopping cart, forms, email links, etc.)
- Design elements (images,
graphics, color scheme, etc.)
- Budget
|
Design
|
Once the
purpose and scope of the site are identified, design can
begin. Wireframes and/or prototypes are created to
reveal a rough plan for how the site will ultimately be
structured as well as to provide insight into the look and
feel. Navigation, content organization, the integration of
images and/or other digital media, and general page layout
is also explored. |
Build
|
Site
development begins by putting the plan and design elements
together into a cohesive package. Petite Aubergine's
strength is in delivering sites with excellent usability. We
use industry best practices to ensure a site that is easy to
navigate and reflects the image that you want to portray. |
Site Release |
Once your
site goes live it is registered with the major search
engines. At this point the site is complete.
However, in order to maintain a good first impression for
new visitors and to keep the interest of past visitors, it
is crucial to keep the site updated. Petite Aubergine
can continue to maintain the site for you (fees apply) or we can
transfer the site to you to fully maintain and update. |
